First Impression: I’m a very tall dog, my back is 28 inches off the ground. I don’t really like having to bend way over to eat and drink my food, so Dad went to PetSmart and bought 2 of the Little Giant - Mini Feeders for horses. Then he constructed a wall mount out of 2×4s so the feeders would be up off the floor. He looked at some of the store bought stands, but none were tall enough, or worth the money. Each of the feeders were less than $10, and a 2×4 is less than $2. If you would like more detailed construction plans let me know and I’ll ask Dad.

Conclusion: Amazing! Every tall puppy should have one!

First Impression: At first I didn’t know what Dad wanted me to do with the Lixit Dog Waterer. But after Dad showed me a couple times, I caught on very quickly. The instructions say you can put peanut butter on the lever, but Dad just pushed it with his finger. Also, he showed me that I can press my nose on the Lixit to make water come out. Fascinating!

Conclusion: Dad says it’s well worth the money! He never has to worry about a water bowl outside. When I play outside and get thirsty, I use the Dog Waterer. I lick it and it gives me fresh water. It hasn’t leaked so far. I now think that Mom’s bath faucet will turn on if I lick it for long enough. The Dog Waterer was very inexpensive and is recommended for all outdoor dogs, or even dogs that just go outside when they have to (like me).

Conclusion: Overall its a great stainless steel bowl. The non-skid base does not work very well on a vinyl floor. Also the base gets scummy from water getting trapped in the rubber non-skid ring, up against the bowl.
