Almost Indestructible Ball
December 19, 2006 10:32 am- First Impression: Dad bought me the Almost Indestructible Ball because I chew through almost everything. The ball is so hard that I can’t grab it with my mouth or my paws. I only play with it if Dad kicks it around, but I won’t play with it on my own. Only recommended if a Rottweiler parent is willing to play soccer with it.
- Conclusion: Dad won’t let me use this ball inside because it’s so hard that I’ll dent the walls and furniture. A solid rubber ball would be much more entertaining. Wish we could find one… 2 out of 4 Paws because it’s just a hard plastic ball… We dogs like something with a rubbery feel.

Giggler Ball - Big
10:19 am- First Impression: The Giggler Ball does not make noise very easily. Mom has to shake it up and down for it to make noise. I have a difficult time getting it to make noise. It seems to be built solidly, but it’s not very interesting.
- Conclusion: Overall its a pretty boring toy. I really like a used Gatoraid bottle more. 1.5 out of 4 Paws because its durable, but very very boring.

Talk to Me Ball
10:13 am- First Impression: I loved my Talk to Me Ball until it attacked me. The Talk to Me Ball let Dad record a voice message on the ball and I would chase it around and it would dispense treats. Dad’s voice said “Get it Tanker. Get it.” It was great. Dad left for school one day and I chased the ball around and managed to get the voice recorder out of the ball. I tried to go after the treats inside the ball, but my lower jaw got stuck inside the ball.
I had the ball stuck on my jaw for hours until Dad and Mom came home. Dad tried to pull the ball off my jaw but it wouldn’t come off. My lower fangs had latched on the inside of the ball. Mom held me down while Dad drilled the supports out of the ball. I didn’t like the drill noise. After Dad had drilled out three of the supports he managed to pry the ball apart. I ran away and hid because I thought I was in trouble. Dad told me it was ok and checked my mouth for any damaged. Luckily, my gums were only scrapped.
Mom wrote a letter to Aspen Pet Products and they said they would investigate the situation. They also sent me some free goodies, including my Hedgehog, Pup-RRR-Mint Sticks, and Muttz-RRR-Ella Sticks.
We still have not heard what their investigation turned up.
- Conclusion: Not recommended! 0 out of 0 Paws because of pain and suffering!
- If you want to risk it, buy it from PetSmart now…
