Well as I’m sure you all know I passed my AKC Canine Good Citizen test on October 11, 2006.
Now I’m setting my sites on my AKC future.
Unfortunately, I don’t have AKC papers, but as you can tell by my pictures I’m a model Rottweiler. Luckily AKC has a program called the Indefinite Listing Privilege Program (ILP). With this program you can submit pictures of yourself, and they will be reviewed by professionals at AKC. If they approve you, then you can compete in almost all the AKC events! Including:
I’m most interested in Agility, Herding, Obedience and Tracking. Dad’s looking into the Obedience trials first. He found a local club that does training so I can earn my Companion Dog title. If you would like to look at the Obedience Regulations, AKC has it on their website.
The Agility Regulations is also on AKC’s site.
The Tracking Regulations is also on AKC’s site.
Along with the Herding Regulations, AKC included the Herding Test and Trial Procedural Manual.
